Gillian’s latest book, Constant Sister: A Sister Katherine Medieval Mystery, was launched in 2017 at the 2nd International Indie Author Day celebration at the Greater Victoria Public Library. Her novel is the result of her fascination with the medieval world. She completed a Master’s degree in Medieval Studies at the University of Victoria.
Gillian's short story, A Trip to Tamburang, was long-listed for the CBC Literary Prize in 2011 and published in Island Writer in 2013.
Times and Places is her debut short story collection and was published by Quadra Books in the fall of 2014.
Gillian worked in the U.K., Zambia and Brunei before coming to Canada in 1977.
